Hazel Dell — Twristan Waite, 17, has been selected to serve on the 2012 National Keystone Conference Steering Committee. Waite — this year’s president of the Keystone Program at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington — and her adviser, John Andersen, director of Teen Services, will attend committee meetings in Fort Worth, Texas, the site of the 2012 conference. The two were selected because of their positive impact on Keystone members and the Boys & Girls Club movement. Waite will work with nearly a dozen other teens from across the country to organize the conference for more than 1,500 students from around the world. Keystone is a character and leadership development program for high school students.
