Barberton — The Barberton Grange honored the Marshallaires singing group at a luncheon in August. During the luncheon, the grange awarded the choir with the Barberton Grange 2011 Community Citizen Award for its involvement in the community.
The choir, made up of senior volunteers, performs locally including at nursing homes and care facilities. There are 52 Marshallaires and are led by director Richard Smitley.
