Firefighters rushed to 5001 N.E. 259th St. on Monday afternoon to help drivers of two pickups involved in a collision.

Clark County Fire & Rescue crews were called at 3:05 p.m. and arrived at 3:10 to find a large pickup on its side and a smaller pickup with heavy front-end damage, according to a bulletin

Both drivers were up and walking and weren’t believed to have been transported by ambulance.

“Seat belts made a big difference in this accident,” said Acting Battalion Chief Jesse Martin. “We urge citizens to always to always properly use their vehicle restraint systems.”
