Battle Ground— Get Bold Events presented a check for $1,200 to the North County Community Food Bank during the Battle Ground Chamber of Commerce meeting Sept. 1. The money was raised during the Harvest Days Run in July. The chamber has put on the Annual Harvest Days Festival for 51 years, and this was the third year the fun run was part of the festivities. Karen King and Elba Benzler, founders of the nonprofit, thanked the fire cadets, Battle Ground High School cheerleaders, Harvest Days princesses, business owners and volunteers for their help in making the event a success.
