Camas college and career options event Nov. 7

The fourth annual Camas college and career options event will begin at 5 p.m. Nov. 7 in the gym at Camas High School, 26900 S.E. 15th St.

Students and families will be able to meet representatives from more than 30 two- and four-year colleges, the military and career/technical programs.

The event is designed to allow time for students to gather information on programs of their choice.

There will be workshops on topics such as writing a college admission essay; SAT and ACT tests; College Planning 101; and fiscal responsibility.

There also will be sessions where students can get information and speak to representatives in smaller groups. The topics will include admissions, financial aid, costs and areas of study.

The event is free to all students and residents in Clark County.
