Felida — Leslea Steffel-Dennis recently completed the WomenHeart symposium at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and is now among 46 WomenHeart Champion coordinators throughout the U.S. WomenHeart bills itself as the only volunteer, exclusively woman-focused organization in the United States that supports and educates women about heart disease. To learn more about the program and the dangers of heart disease among women, attend a meeting, which are offered monthly at Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center and PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center.
