Washougal couple’s sweet way to support good cause

Washougal — Lisa and Chris Schloe of Washougal spent the night of Sept. 15 dipping strawberries in pink chocolate for a good cause. The Schloes, owners of an Edible Arrangements fruit-and-sweets franchise in Portland, participated in the Motocross Race for a Cure, sponsored by Hazel Dell business Moxie MX. Moxie MX has been selling T-shirts designed specially for the cause, with most of the proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
