During a four-play drive to open the game, Zack Marshall carried the ball 85 yards on three runs and one reception. He scored on first-quarter runs of 16 yards and 17 yards, helping set the tone. Marshall finished with 105 yards, all in the first half.
The second half was played with a running clock.
Heritage pulled within 10-6 with 4:48 left in the first quarter on a 18-yard run on a quarterback draw by Joseph Cooper.
