On the sidelines: Camas and Washougal keep rolling

A 3-hour, 156-mile bus ride to Prineville, Ore., did not prevent the Washougal High School football team from winning its sixth game. The 6-0 Panthers avenged last year’s Homecoming game loss to Crook County by beating the Cowboys 28-7 Friday night.

Washougal returns home to host Woodland next Friday, at Fishback Stadium. The Panthers and Beavers are both undefeated in league, so this should be a big game.

Camas football scored 51 points in the first half to start the running clock on Hudson’s Bay. The Papermakers rolled along to a 58-0 victory to improve to 4-0 in league games.

Camas goes to McKenzie Stadium Friday, to play Heritage.

Read more about these games in Tuesday’s print edition of the Post-Record.

See you on the sidelines.
