THE PEACE AND JUSTICE MINISTRY at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church is sponsoring a presentation on helping children in Bangladesh, “Success in Bangladesh” at 7 p.m. High school students from Skyview High School will participate in three dramatic readings. A MULTIMEDIA PRESENTATION by Bev Questad begins at 7 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 12513 S.E. Mill Plain Blvd. Questad, a teacher at Skyview High School, will share her experiences this summer working in an orphanage in Bangladesh. She was a volunteer teacher of English for Distressed Children and Infants, International in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Students from the school will participate in the presentation with dramatic readings. COLUMBIA PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH will have a weekend of spiritual renewal with Louis Markos, a C.S. Lewis scholar on Oct. 21-23. Markos was a fellow and tutor in English literature at Oxford University until 1954 when he was unanimously elected to be the chairman of medieval and renaissance English at Cambridge University, a position he held until he retired.
