Boys basketball: Evergreen 65, Federal Way 50

Evergreen 65, Federal Way 50 — Caleb Dressler opened the season with a double-double and the Plainsmen used a good start to each half to win at home.

Dressler scored 28 points and grabbed 20 rebounds to lead the way for Evergreen. Tre Clark added 12 points, eight rebounds and four assists.

Evergreen jumped to a 15-point lead in the first quarter. The plainsmen used a 19-5 third quarter to build a 21-point advantage.
