Columbia Valley paraeducator tapped as state leader

Bennington — Sindy Sands, a speech and language pathologist at Columbia Valley Elementary School, was appointed State Education Advocacy Leader for the American Speech and Hearing Association this year. Sands is involved in reaching legislatures with concerns and advocating for the role of speech and language pathologists as well as other paraeducators.
