Remember the time the dog ate the Christmas roast? That unexpected gift that touched your heart? The holiday storm that scrambled your travel plans?
Everyone seems to have a holiday tale for our Everybody Has a Story column — and all of those stories tend to swamp us in the week or two before the holidays. By then, dear readers, it’s too late to find space for all of them.
This year, let’s try this: Keep those stories as brief as possible — no longer than 300 words — and get them to us no later than 8 a.m. Nov. 28. Instead of running one per week, we’ll pack as many holiday tales as possible into our Dec. 14 and Dec. 21 Neighbors sections. The shorter you keep them, the more we can squeeze in!
