A 22-year-old woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly shoplifted — and assaulted store staff — at the Woodland Walmart.

Bobbie J. Scholle was arrested on suspicion of second-degree robbery and third-degree assault and booked into the Cowlitz County Jail.

Police were called to the store around 10:15 p.m. Thursday. When they arrived, store security had Scholle in custody.

According to the Woodland Police: Scholle had been in a stall in the women’s restroom and appeared to be opening packages and continually flushing the toilet. When she left the stall, she put empty product packaging in the garbage. A store manager asked her to return the items she didn’t pay for. She refused, shoved the manager into the wall and fled, the release said.

Scholle was detained outside and had about $250 in merchandise that wasn’t paid for, police said.
