Teacher wins $1,000 in supplies

Hearthwood — Jennifer Hilton, fourth-grade teacher at Hearthwood Elementary School, won $1,000 worth of school supplies and a new chair for her classroom from Office Max. The award was one of more than 1,000 given to teachers nationwide in the “A Day Made Better” school program put on by Office Max. A representative from Office Max presented the award and a dozen red roses to Hilton on Oct. 4.
