Sifton — In early October, Heritage High School seniors Fletcher Stenlund, Michael Youngs and Hannah Terry, presented a program to Stop Kids Intoxicated Driving (SKID). The three students are members of DECA, a business-marketing student organization. Law enforcement, AMR Ambulance, Life Flight and other agencies from the area helped with portraying a car accident involving eight seniors, with one of them pronounced “deceased” at the scene. Following the presentation, if students pledged to not drink and drive, they were given a key chain with a purple key that says “Don’t Drink and Drive, Heritage High School.”
