Baristas brew up donations for breast care center

Cascade Highlands — Baristas at the Fisher’s Landing Brewed Awakenings donated more than $600 in tips to the Kearney Breast Care Center at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center from a fundraiser held Oct. 10. Along with the tips, dollar drinks were served to raise money to help bring a 3D mammography machine to the center. In all, around $1,600 was raised for the cancer center. The fundraiser was also the one-year anniversary of the coffee shop’s reopening.
