Salmon Creek — Kathy Santschi and Brianna Baker, teachers at Chinook Elementary School, won pizza parties for their classrooms from Garlic Jim’s Famous Gourmet Pizza.

Santschi was nominated by a parent who said that, “[she] goes above and beyond. She finds the positive in working with every child. She has passion for her job.”

Baker was nominated by a student who simply said, “Ms. Baker is awesome!”

Maheep Hayer, local owner of the Salmon Creek location said, “Teachers are truly the unsung heroes in our communities and donating a pizza party is a small gesture to show my personal appreciation for their hard work.”
