Free newspaper publication the Vancouver Voice is listed for sale at an asking price of $75,000 or best offer on BizBuySell.com, an Internet site that advertises businesses and franchises for sale.

According to the website, the newspaper’s Oregon-based family owners wish to divest themselves of their company’s only Washington publication. The Vancouver Voice is owned by McMinnville, Ore.-based newspaper family, the Bladine family, owners of The News-Register Publishing Co., which purchased the publication in 2008 from James Walling.

The website lists the Vancouver Voice as an alternative, 16- to 24-page newspaper that earns $83,000 in gross revenue annually and focuses on the arts, activities, recreation and special interests in Southwest Washington.

It employs a two-person staff in downtown offices at 1001 Main St.
