No one was reported injured Sunday night after a Clark County sheriff’s deputy crashed his patrol car into another car in Orchards while pursing a speeding motorcyclist.
Shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday, Deputy Glen Smyth was driving on Northeast Fourth Plain Road when he saw a motorcyclist speeding, said sheriffs’ Sgt. Alex Schoening.
Smyth turned around to pursue the rider and turned on his overhead flashers and siren, Schoening said.
At Fourth Plain and Gher Road, the deputy entered the intersection against a red light and hit a car, Schoening said.
