The Clark County 4-H Country Critter Rabbit Club held a spring food drive, “Bunnies Battling Hunger” as a community service project. In cooperation with YEAH, Youth Efforts Against Hunger, the group raised and donated to The Salvation Army-Stop Hunger Warehouse 82 pounds of rabbit meat. Also, 330 pounds of canned food was collected and donated. The YEAH program, which is run through the Junior Livestock Auction, provides the funds for cutting and wrapping the meat donated to the food bank.
The 4-H group has around 20 members.
