More than 300 Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center employees and their families gathered recently for a dinner at the Hilton Vancouver Washington to honor employees for various work milestones — chief among them, Leanne Bradford, an R.N. from Salmon Creek’s Family Birth Center who marked 45 years with Legacy Health this past year.
Bradford worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center for most of her career, before joining Salmon Creek when the hospital opened in 2005. She retired in November 2010 but was on hand for the March 17 event. “Leanne treated every patient like family,” said Rhonda Linn, nurse manager of the Family Birth Center.
