Hazel Dell — Savenia Falquist, a sexual assault advocate, foster mother and caregiver to her own mother, was given the Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Award on March 8 at the YWCA Clark County. “She has touched so many of us, and she has saved many of our spirits during the obstacles in our own lives,” said a friend and a recent victim-turned-survivor who was helped by Falquist.
