Register now for May’s Hazel Dell parade

Clark County — Registration is open for the 47th annual Hazel Dell Parade of Bands.

The parade will be May 21.

The theme is Stars & Stripes Forever, and the parade will be led by Retired U.S. Army Sgt. Jack Carrier and Sgt. Brian Radke. Both soldiers were injured while serving in Iraq.

Registration forms are available on the Hazel Dell/Salmon Creek Business Association’s website, http://www.hdscba.org.

Completed forms must be returned to Clark County Fire District 6 headquarters, 8800 N.E. Hazel Dell Ave., by May 13.

The parade’s lineup is partially based on when the forms were submitted.

Forms are also available at Clark County Fire District 6; Clark County Sheriff’s Office west precinct, 505 N.W. 179th St.; First Independent Bank in Hazel Dell; Riverview Community Bank in Hazel Dell and Salmon Creek; Smokey’s Pizza; and West Coast Bank in Salmon Creek.
