Mr. Magoo is a 2-year-old domestic short hair brown tabby. He came to the shelter as a stray. Mr. Magoo cannot see well. We are unsure why he is blind but he can still see shadows. He will need to go to a home with children over the age of 14 since he can be startled easily, and will need to be indoors only since he is completely helpless outdoors. Mr. Magoo can find his food, water and litter box just fine.
Cosby is a 2-year-old Rottweiler mix. He needs a home with kids older than age 10 and no cats or livestock, as he doesn’t understand they don’t like to be chased. It would be best if he met any dogs he would live with before going home. Cosby knows sit, lay down and shake and walks well on a leash but will still need a fenced yard. These pets are among those available for adoption from noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington, 1100 N.E. 192nd Ave., Vancouver.
