It was an extra special Father’s Day for Battle Ground actor, musician and writer Jonathan Jackson. He nabbed his fourth Daytime Emmy Entertainment Award, and brought his two older children on stage with him to accept it.
The 38th annual Emmys were Sunday in Las Vegas, and Jackson, 29, won in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category for his portrayal of Lucky Spencer on the ABC soap opera “General Hospital.”
He attended the awards show with his wife and former “General Hospital” co-star, Lisa, their daughter, Adora, 5, and their son, Caleb, 8. They also have an 8-month-old son, Titus. They split their time between Battle Ground and Los Angeles, where “General Hospital” films.
Jackson originated the role of Lucky when he was 11 years old. He won three Daytime Emmys in the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series category before leaving the show in 1999. The part was recast, but Jackson reprised the role in October 2009. He has now received eight Daytime Emmy nominations.
