Fircrest — The “Breath of Hope” community fair held at Everest College Vancouver on June 25 raised $1,300 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Fourteen vendors offered complementary massages, guest speakers and spa treatments at a reduced rate.

Shan Sullens, development manager of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Oregon chapter, said the event went well.

Nathan Daggett, the event organizer, said there was a “steady turn out” and it was a good learning experience for the next year they host the event.
