La Center — More than 100 people gathered at a dedication July 1. Memorial signs were placed on Northwest La Center Road near Northwest Eagle Crest Drive in honor of Steven Dodd and Karey Brown. Dodd and Brown were killed by a drunken driver on their way home from a motorcycle ride on July 3, 2010.
The signs, placed on both sides of the road, say, “Don’t Drink and Drive in memory of Steven Dodd and Karey Brown,” and are meant to remind drivers what can happen while driving under the influence.
