Woodland — Penny Carson is a new woman, thanks to the Woodland Take Off Pounds Sensibly group. After struggling with her weight for 30 years, Carson took control and joined the support group. She lost 136 pounds in 21 months.
Carson was recognized as the 2011 Washington State TOPS Queen on June 4 at the State Recognition Days Convention in Spokane. Carson credits her weight loss success to her supportive family and several TOPS club friends.
