House gets decorated for the holidays

North Image — If it’s a holiday and you drive by Dan Smoron’s house, you’ll know it. Smoron religiously decorates his house on 121st Avenue in the Creekside Estates, a mobile and manufactured senior housing community, every major holiday and has for the past five years. This Fourth of July is no exception. Several retired military veterans living in the community often tell him how much his display of patriotism means to them, Smoron said, adding that the encouragement he gets only inspires him to do more each year.
