The Health Professions Quality Assurance office of the state Department of Health recently took disciplinary actions or has withdrawn charges against these Clark County health care providers.
In May, the Emergency Medical Services and Trauma Systems Program charged paramedic Richard L. Wilson with unprofessional conduct. He allegedly engaged in sexual intercourse with a patient’s mother. Allegedly the patient is a minor child and the mother was a key party for the patient.
In June, the Massage Program charged Tom Hudson with unprofessional conduct. He allegedly entered into a sexual relationship with a patient.
In June, the Nursing Commission charged registered nurse Jacqueline Paine with unprofessional conduct. In February 2010 she was found guilty of assault, driving while under the influence, reckless endangerment — domestic violence, assault — domestic violence, harassment — death threats, and reckless endangerment.
