HOCKINSON — Hockinson is a little bit safer these days thanks to Hockinson ESP/WEA Riverside classified union members.
The union purchased a defibrillator for Hockinson Primary School with a $1,500 grant it received. Hockinson PWT, a parent organization, donated the money to purchase an alarmed cabinet to house the defibrillator. The unit will be available during school programs, as well as any sporting events held at the school. Fire District 3 personnel will be training the school staff in its use.
