BATTLE GROUND — Residents of Glenwood Senior Living, family, and friends of Paul Walden’s music students recently enjoyed a French horn recital at Glenwood Retirement Home. The recital was a prelude to the upcoming solo and ensemble contests.
It gave the musicians a chance to practice in front of an audience. They will be competing in local contests and then a larger regional competition. Walden offers private lessons out of Music World in Battle Ground and Hazel Dell.
