Young, old gather for ice cream social

LANDOVER-SHARMEL — Residents of Bridgewood at Four Seasons Assisted Living Community were recently visited by members of the Modern Woodmen of America Youth Service Club. The club put on an ice cream social for around 60 community members and guests. Modern Woodmen donate more than 300,000 volunteer hours each year. The Sharing With Seniors Program joins club members, who range in age from birth to 16, with senior citizens in fun activities so the two generations can learn about and appreciate each other.
