Two Vancouver residents were shot in the legs by an intruder Saturday night, according to Clark County sheriff’s deputies.
Cory S. Bloom, who is about 23, was shot once through his hip and once through his thigh.
Sarah A. Godfrey, also about 23, was grazed by a bullet in the calf.

The incident began with multiple 911 calls received at 11:38 p.m. summoning deputies to a neighborhood just north of Highway 500 at Falk Road.
When officers and paramedics arrived at 4213 N.E. 38th St., they were told a small group of friends including the victims were at the home when an uninvited man entered the house unannounced, threw a duffel bag on the kitchen floor and fired a shot.
Fearing the bag contained a bomb, Godfrey threw it out the back door.
The intruder then fired several more shots toward the front door, wounding the victims, deputies said.
The Metro Explosives Disposal Unit was called out to examine the duffel bag and it was found to be empty.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital where they were treated.
Witnesses stated that the suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and wearing a surgical mask.
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes unit is investigation this incident.
