HAZEL DELL — Doctors and staff at Smiles Dental volunteered to treat more than 100 local residents Feb. 11 as part of the third annual “Doctor with a Heart Day.” Smiles offered dental treatment to Southwest Washington residents who could not otherwise afford dentistry. The free service is part of Smiles Dental’s mission to have a positive impact in the community. The owner of Smiles Dental, Dr. Jeromy Dixson, estimates that the four Smiles locations donated more than $50,000 worth of free dental care.

“Many of our staff members say that ‘Doctor with a Heart Day’ is their favorite day at Smiles all year,” Dixson said.
