Students study abroad

LAKE SHORE— Brooke Bekkedahl and Adrienne Berthot of Vancouver spent January studying abroad through a special study program at Linfield College. Bekkedahl spent the month in Kenya studying health care. She focused on outreach in rural areas under the auspices of Open Arms International. Berthot went to Costa Rica and took a class about plant and animal interactions. Her fieldwork included the La Selva, Monteverde and Palo Verde research stations.
