Students raise $47,525 for foundation

FRUIT VALLEY — Students in the Fruit Valley Community Learning Center raised a staggering $9.93 per student during the 2010 Student Fall Campaign. Each year, students across Vancouver Public Schools raise money to support the Vancouver School District Foundation. The foundation helps make sure basic needs — from immunizations to hygiene items — are being met for Vancouver students. The Fruit Valley students raised $2,494; the 2010 district total was $47,525.
