Boys basketball: Valley Christian 67, Seton Catholic 38

Spokane’s Valley Christian scored 40 first-half points to roll over the Cougars in the opening round of the DA Davidson Christmas Classic in Walla Walla.

C.J. Strong led Seton Catholic (3-5) with 12 points. The Cougars did outscore Valley Christian by seven in the third quarter.

Seton Catholic will take on Liberty Christian from Richland at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday.
