Clark County — Local company Tidewater and national trash hauler Waste Connections will match all donations made by the end of 2011 in support of the Parks Foundation’s 2012 Community Grant Award program.

This program directly supports parks, trails and recreation programs in Clark County.

Executive Director Cheri Martin said, “Our donors love knowing their gift will be matched dollar for dollar and go twice as far in supporting the needs of our community’s park programs. It really ups the ante.” Riverview Community Bank has already stepped forward with a $6,000 contribution to the program, she said.

All donations to the Parks Foundation are tax-deductible. For more information or to make a donation, contact the foundation office at 360-487-8370 or http://parksfoundation.us.
