Hudson’s Bay — The Vancouveria Garden Club made more than 100 wreaths and 25 swags in late November at the Pearson Restoration and Maintenance hangar at the Pearson Air Field in Vancouver. The garden club sells the greenery to raise money for a $1,000 college scholarship for a Clark College horticulture student. The greens were donated by garden club members, and the use of the space was provided by Laureano Mier, Pearson Air Museum manager and educational director. Vancouveria Garden Club meets at 12:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of each month at the Covington House, 4201 Main St. Membership is open to all garden lovers. For information, call 360-241-9969.
