Boys basketball: Ridgefield 85, Castle Rock 61

Michael Potter led four Spudders in double figures, scoring 25 points as Ridgefield won a Trico League game on the road.

A 21-8 third quarter keyed by defensive intensity put away the victory.

Will Dolan scored 39 points for Castle Rock. But he scored only two in the decisive third quarter when he was defended by Max Ballantyne.

Sam Landerholm had 17 points for Ridgefield (5-2, 2-1 Trico), Michael Schwinof scored 14 and Ballentyne 11. Potter had 12 rebounds and Ballentyne made three steals.
