Mount Tahoma 59, Evergreen 51 — The Plainsmen, who early this week were ranked second in the state by The Seattle Times, lost for the third night in a row.
Mount Tahoma outscored Evergreen 28-12 in the fourth quarter, after facing an eight-point deficit entering the final period.
“We looked tired and out of shape,” Evergreen coach Kelly Blankenship said. “They went to the line 13 times in the fourth quarter. They were the aggressor, and they took it right to us.”
Evergreen, which lost to Union on Thursday night and to Mountain View of Oregon on Friday, committed 30 turnovers against Mount Tahoma.
