The 220th anniversary of the Bill of Rights is Thursday and the First Amendment Center is holding a Twitter contest to celebrate.

Students who send creative tweets about why the First Amendment matters will be eligible to win one of 22 $5,000 college scholarships, funded by the Knight Foundation. For more information and contest rules visit http://www.freetotweet.org.

All Americans can also support free speech by tweeting about the importance of the First Amendment and including a link to the campaign’s website with the hashtag #freetotweet.
