Girls basketball: Prairie 65, Battle Ground 25

The Falcons ran to a quick lead to win the non-league game, building a 24-6 lead in the first quarter.

Four players scored in double figures for Prairie, which forced Battle Ground into 35 turnovers.

Battle Ground played most of the game without Nikki Bond, who suffered an apparent ankle injury in the first quarter.

Megan Lindsley led Prairie with 12 points. Cori Woodward, Kelsey Asplund and Jackie Lanz scored 11 apiece.

Haley Grossman led Battle Ground with 10 points.
