Girls basketball: Washougal 45, Fort Vancouver 35

Washougal 45, Fort Vancouver 35 — Sara Brown made three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as the Panthers held off the Trappers.

Washougal led 30-18 entering the fourth quarter, but Fort Vancouver closed to within five points. That’s when Brown got hot. She finished with 12 points — all on 3-pointers in the second half.

Mar’Shay Moore finished with a game-high 18 points for Fort Vancouver. Maddie Down led Washougal with 13, and Kendall Utter scored 10.
