Funds totaling $13,597 have been distributed to Clark County students by InvestED, a Washington State nonprofit organization that helps with emergency needs.
InvestED used to be the Saul and Dayee G. Haas Foundation. Now under a new name, the charity works through principals and counselors to get money to students who are facing critical needs such as clothing, shoes and minor medical help, as well as school fees, application fees, and sports, music and art supplies.
During the last school year, 1,024 Clark County students received help from InvestED. You can learn more by visiting http://investED.org.
