Dan Dickau, Jennifer Thomas, Sonja Curtis and Gordon Buslach will be the first of two classes of inductees that Prairie High School will add to his athletics hall of fame on Dec. 13.
The ceremony will be conducted prior to Prairie’s girls basketball game with Battle Ground.
Dickau, a 1997 graduate, was the state player of the year for Prairie basketball. After playing one season for the University of Washington, Dickau transferred to Gonzaga, helping the Bulldogs reach the NCAA Tournament in junior and senior years. Originally drafted by the Sacramento Kings, Dickau played six seasons in the NBA for the Hawks, Blazers, Mavericks, Hornets, Celtics and Clippers.
Curtis, a 1995 graduate, help the Prairie girls basketball team capture its first state championship. Curtis was the program’s first player to play Division I basketball, taking her talents to the University of Oregon. She remains Prairie’s career leader in blocks and offensive rebounds.
