Vancouver police on Thursday morning responded to reports of an alleged drunk driver near the Burgerville at 307 E. Mill Plain Blvd., according to dispatchers.
Three Vancouver Police cars were on scene just before 8 a.m., according to Columbian Editor Lou Brancaccio who drove by the incident on his way to work.
A caller reported a driver was asleep at the wheel near Fruit Valley. Vancouver police located the vehicle minutes later near the intersection of East Mill Plain Boulevard and C Street, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
The car was impounded, but there was no further information on the driver, Kapp said.
