Volunteers pull weeds to beautify center

Fircrest — Firstenburg Community Center hosted a much-needed volunteer weed-pulling party on Aug. 10, and nearly 20 volunteers showed up to help. They filled two dumpsters with yard debris — proof that many helping hands can make a big difference in just a few hours. Michelle Simpson, volunteer coordinator for the city of Vancouver, would like to thank all of the volunteers.
